Adolescence is one of the most challenging and misunderstood stages of a dog’s life. Dogs are bigger, bolder, more emotional and suddenly seem to forget everything they once knew. Many owners come to me feeling frustrated, worried, or at the end of their tether.

This service is designed to support both you and your dog through this stage, helping you rebuild communication, confidence and trust.
Common challenges I support include loose lead walking, recall struggles, big emotional reactions, frustration, over-arousal and confidence wobbles. While these are often described as ‘behaviour problems’, they are very often part of normal adolescent development.

Support for adolescent dogs is offered as one-to-one sessions or short packages, depending on what will best support you and your dog. Most adolescent dogs benefit from ongoing support rather than a single session, and I’ll guide you honestly about what’s likely to help your dog most.
Initial sessions:
- 90-minute training session: £85
- 60-minute training session: £65
Follow-up packages are available for dogs who would benefit from ongoing support:
- 2 x 60-minute sessions: £125
- 3 x 60-minute sessions: £180
