As puppies grow, things change.
The dog who was listening last week suddenly seems distracted, independent, or uninterested.
This isn’t a training failure — it’s a normal part of development.
Adolescence isn’t a training problem, it’s a developmental stage
As your puppy moves into adolescence, their brain is changing, and with that comes new challenges.
These monthly sessions are designed to support you through that phase — helping you stay on track and continue building reliable behaviour in the real world.
Training takes place in outdoor, real-life environments — not a hall — so you can learn how to handle everyday situations with confidence.
During the session we’ll focus on:
- Recall and engagement around distractions
- Loose lead walking in real-world settings
- Calm behaviour out and about
- Practical handling skills for everyday life
Small group sizes allow for individual coaching and support.
Is this the right fit for my puppy?
These sessions are suitable for dogs who already have a basic understanding of foundation skills such as recall, lead walking and engagement, and are ready to begin applying these in more distracting environments.
You don’t need to have attended my puppy course, but your dog should have some prior training in place.
They are not designed for dogs who require intensive behavioural support, but I’m always happy to advise on more suitable options if needed.
